Windows 10 64bit mbed serial driver

15 Jun 2016

I had the common problem with mbed serial driver but now have: /media/uploads/kg1/mbed_serial_driver.png

I am using platform NUCLEO_F746ZG on Windows 10. Note the Driver: NODE_F746ZG which is under Portable Devices and which accepts bin files from the MBED online compiler. Note the ÜSB Serial Device (COM3) under Ports (COM & LTP). The NODE_F746ZG driver has MBED as the manufacturers name. The ÜSB Serial Device (COM3) driver, although it has the same date as the official MBED driver, is named Microsoft and has version 10.0.10586.306. There is no MBED name on the ÜSB Serial Device but works with Tera Term:

I did delete a ST virtual COM port prior to Microsoft auto install.

Does the official mbed serial driver work for you on Windows 10?

Hello,

Are you using STSW-LINK009 driver? ST-Link debug interface can’t work without STSW-LINK009 driver. http://www.st.com/content/st_com/en/products/embedded-software/development-tool-software/stsw-link009.html

So, please download this driver and let me know if this workaround resolves your issue or problem still exists.
