Is there any way to do a "Find" and have the IDE search through all of the files in a project?

I'm just getting back into working with mbed after a few years and I'm still completely boggled as to how this hasn't been fixed... I'm fine with the Ctrl-Alt-F macro but having to manually select the drop-down and choose the root folder each time is driving me nuts. Ironically enough, having a hard time finding any other posts regarding this...
