My own SPI Localfilesystem

Has anyone managed to create an SPI based LocalFileSystem, I am starting to design a very minimal board ( see my LPC-Minimal) and I want to have a storage block, that both PC and my MBED can see, Read & Write.

I dont want to use an SD card.

Hi

Why use the mbed flash disk that both LPC and PC can see at the same time? It also has a library for it.

I want to make my own PCB,

with a file system of its own.
