Measuring the temperature of the mbed? - Keep in insulation?

I'm thinking of keeping the mbed in the bubblewrap it came in (in a dusty, dusty garage), but I'm not sure if this will let in enough air flow to keep it cool enough to function. Is there a way to keep track of the temperature on the mbed?
