Compiler problems (OSX)

Hi,

I've problems with the compiler on OSX (Snow leopard V. 10.6.1)

In safari (V. 4.0.3), i can't insert special characters like: [ ] { } | (in fact all special characters reachable with ALT key except #)

I've tried to work with Firefox (V. 3.5.3), but there is no cursor and I can't insert any text!

Is this a know problem?

Is there a workaround? If not, do you know when this will be fixed?

It' quite difficult to make C++ code without thoses special characters!

Issues occur with the use of different keyboard layouts. It you are not using the default US keyboard settings in OS X you might experience some issues.
