Just a FYI for anyone else wondering if the mbed works with OpenSolaris - I've plugged my mbed NXP LPC1768 into my OpenSolaris machine and everything works just as it should - I've uploaded the "hello world" program to the board, and I've tested serial comms with another of the demo programs using "tip -9600 /dev/term/0".
