Greetings!
I'm a complete novice when it comes to embedded platforms...although I do know unix.
A while back I wrote an application for the falcon f35-xxl. I enjoyed the ability to write my C within an IDE on unix (fedora) and have the IDE compile, upload and execute
the code (ecos) on the smart terminal with a single mouse click...so now I'm wondering is it possible to setup the same development platform for embed using Eclipse and freeRTOS?
Whilst the online IDE is certainly a polished product, I would like to compile/run hello world using a copy of freeRTOS and compile/run it from within Eclipse?
Any pointers would be much appreciated!!
Cheers
Bruce
