3.3 volt regulator

I connected a Zigbee Xbee module to the 3.3 regulator output and it was working for a while. Then the voltage disapeared.

Is there a minimum load for the regulator?

I found the data sheet for the LD1117S33 but I not used to read them and find what I need any longer.

There's a maximum load for the regulator. The load is limited by the power disspiation of the regulator - that depends on the voltage supply of the mbed and of course the load itself.
