JUST STARTED ON A NEW MBED PROJECT UTILIZING THE CAN-BUS.
I AM USING MICROCHIP'S MCP2515 CAN BUS MONITOR, SHOWN ABOVE AND FUTERLEC'S
CAN BUS NODE TO TEST FUCTIONALITY;
2- 8 BIT ADC CHANNELS.2 DIGITAL O/P AND 3 DIGITAL I/P CHANNELS.
THE MONITOR SHOWS CHANNEL 1 CHANNEL ADC (DATA 9EH)
THE USB CONNECTION ON THE CAN BUS NODE IS ONLY USED TO SUPPLY 5 VOLTS.
THE OBJECT OF THE EXERCISE IS TO CONNECT FUTERLEC'S CAN NODE TO THE CAN BUS OF THE MBED,AND TO USE MIKROELEKTRONICA'S TFT TO DISPLAY A VIRTUAL ANALOGUE METER.
I RECALL THAT A SINE AND COS FUNCTION IS REQUIRED TO PRODUCE A ROTATING VECTOR? (NEEDLE ON A METER)
ANY TAKERS AS TO HOW TO DO THIS?
