mbed win7 driver fails to install

Got new both M0 and M3 mbed boards today. Neither has the Windows 7 driver installed successfully. Tried FAQ, tried different two USB cables, but still no luck. Is there anyway to get the driver and install it manually?

Hi m fan,

Does Windows try to load a driver? Can you check in the device manager if you have an unknown device which appears after plugging in an mbed. If yes right click on it and uninstall the driver.

Plug in again the mbed and try to install the serial driver

Thanks Sam for the idea - installing the serial driver solved it!
