Hello, currently my MBED is not working and I was wondering if you guys could help.

When I plug my MBED into my mac, it shows up as NO NAME instead of the normal MBED. When I look inside the MBED, the MBED.htm file is not inside. I tried uploading the simple blinking led example created at the beginning of any new project on the MBED site. I can transfer the file to the MBED, but when I press the reset button, nothing happens.

I tried renaming the MBED from NO NAME to MBED. I also tried copying the MBED.htm file of my other MBED into the broken MBED, but this did not work.

Any ideas?

Thank you very much for the response. I went through all of the checks, but it still does not work. Do you know how I can format the mbed? I tried right clicking the mbed and pressing format. Thanks.

It sounds like file system corruption. Formatting often resolves these sorts of issues.
