[m3pi] m3pi + mbed LPC11U24 + wixel + LiPo battery anyone?

hello all, has anyone out there come up with a good scheme for running the m3pi + mbed from LiPo battery cells? or any other battery besides the standard 4xAAA option (without a charger (which i personally find rather disappointing in this day and age))?

Use a 3.7-5V step up converter like the sparkfun NCP1400-5V Step-Up Breakout board. I've used this to run mine off 3 x aa nimh batteries pretty happily.

It's a single cell lithium charger and boost converter to 5V. It works quite well.
