committing NUCLEO-F091RC to PCB design

What PCB design considerations are there for a simple design with just ARM STM32F091RC and accelerometer and power chip?

I have my algorithm running perfectly on the NUCLEO-F091RC eval, and its Nucleo Expansion with the LSM6DS3 accelerometer on the STEVAL-MKI160V1 board.

We assume I2C interface to accelerometer

There are some guidelines in ST AN1709 "EMC design guide", page 29 to 31, mainly concerned with clock and supply bypass placement.

As far as I know most of the advice tends to be EMC related because a layout problem will most likely cause emmission and immunity issues long before it actually leads to device malfunction.
