rename volume to latest bin downloaded

This is a bit of a nuts idea, not sure it could be done, but worth exploring.

I'm working on a project now, with three mbeds plugged in.

So these are automounted as:

MBED MBED_ MBED__

I have to remember which is which.

In principle, I guess one could modify the volume label to the latest program binary uploaded, so as to tell them apart so the volumes would be something like:

MasterBlinker CameraSnapper SpeakerTest

I guess you'd have to remount the drives in this instance if you changed the volume, which might be the only annoying thing, since you'd have to do this each time. But just a thought.
