I just tried this out with the experimental firmware and found that it almost halved my power consumption!
It is a great feature, that is vital for anyone wishing to run their projects on batteries... I hope we can see this officially supported in future firmware updates :)
Now I need to play with the sleep() functions see if I can get power usage even lower... any tips would be most welcome.
... then later I need to see about reducing the analogue capture time... gonna be a fun sunday evening ;)
