Bad Mbed

Hi all,

I'm having a strange problem. For the last few days i've noticed that the Mbed is losing the programs it has on the flash. It was powered down for the weekend, Hooked it up to the USB, and everything was gone. Program .txt files. I tried reformatting the Mbed several times. But it keeps happening. Do i have a bad Mbed ?

After a format you have an empty disk. Powering it down and up will put the 'mbed.htm' file back on it. All other data will be erased in this process. However, after the power cycle, I can put new files on the mbed which will stay there.

I also use another USB cable; the cable provided with my mbed gives a lot of file system errors while a (shorter?) cable works stable.
