Can someone please fix the serial documentation.

I make that 3 questions in the last week from people getting confused as to why the async read/write functions don't work for them. That's not counting the people who try to use them and then manage to find the answer themselves.

Can we please get the documentation changed so that there is a big flashing neon sign on all of the async functions indicating that they only work on a handful of boards and ideally include a link to a list of the supported boards. Right now all the documentation is doing is confusing people.
