"cannot open source input file "mbed.h"

12 Jun 2012

Hi guys,

After doing some work last night, I have just come back to do some more tonight to find when I compile I get the message:

"cannot open source input file "mbed.h": No such file or directory" in file "/GD.cpp", Line: 9, Col: 17

I can exit beta mode and compile another project no problems,

this brings me to 2 more much smaller problems.

exiting beta mode and re-entering from the same page takes you into the old beta mode, where the converted projects are inaccessible. I can enter the correct beta mode the same way I started.

right clicking on the error message and trying to copy it gives me an error message saying operation not possible on safari. I'm using Google's Chrome browser. Best not tell Google, they may sue ;)

Hi Chris,

There was a temporary problem (caused by human error) on the restricted collaboration beta - this has since been fixed and you should be able to compile successfully now.

If you still have problems, try importing the mbed libraries again from http://mbed.org/users/mbed_official/code/mbed/ - just click 'Import latest build'.

Thanks for the report,

Dan
