It would be really neat to have external checkout and commit access of some sort to my mbed programs stored in the online compiler, via git or Hg or whatever it uses internally.
Then one could easily use external code editors etc, and work away from the internet, and still just use the online compiler to generate binaries with the minimum of fuss.
