Programs and Libraries not listing in Compiler Import pane

19 Apr 2011

I'm using windows 7, Firefox 3.6.16 / IE 9

I having problems listing programs and libraries from mbed.org. Nothing is showing up in the libraries or Programs tabs in the compiler. If I hit Refresh (bottom right of pane) I get "Loading, please wait ..." but nothing is returned. I tried this under IE as well, same result. (and on another Windows 7 machine)

Anyone had this problem?

Hi,

This should now be fixed. However it is worth noting that the import listings within the compiler have been greatly improved in the next release of the compiler, due to be available very soon.

In the meantime, I recommend the use of http://mbed.org/code/ to find programs and libraries.

Many thanks,

Dan

Seems to work now. :)

I can see only the programs. The libraries still showing nothing. Trying with both the Chrome and Internet explorer. Is there anyway to manually import the libraries?

Thanks

Same here.

  • programs - OK,
  • libraries - Not listing

Try this http://mbed.org/code/?type=library

Hi,

The library tab now shows some libraries.

However the import listing within the compiler is unfortunately not working as well as it could do at the moment, and is only showing a fraction of the available programs.

This is mainly because of the number of published programs we now have available. The next release of the compiler will address this, which will hopefully be available very soon.

In the meantime you can import programs and libraries using this method:

1. Find the program or library on http://mbed.org/code/

2. Open the program or library page. At the top right of the page, click 'import into a program' or 'import this program'.

This will then take you to the compiler where you can import as normal. All either method does is populate the compiler import wizard with the correct URL for the programs, so the results will be identical.

Thanks,

Dan
