Controlling a Model Railway using mbed

Dear Sir,

Is there a schematic diagram available for the above project.?

Also I ordered a YF Robot 2012 Mosfet Dual H-bridge breakout board and was sent a YF Robot 2013 model.

As I'm having trouble getting the supplier to send me the correct item, I would appreciate it if someone could advise me whether the YF Robot 2013 can be used, and if so, is there a schematic diagram for this 2013 Mosfet ?

Thanking you in anticipation

Garry

Garry, I do have my "Doh" moments, and I guess this is one of them. I have googled for the breakout board, but cannot find one. Can you please add a link to your supplier. I will then try and help.

Hi David,

The ebay supplier I used and who sent me the wrong one is basram-tech.

His email address is merryelectronic@gmail.com

I've used this email address once and have not received any reply.

The ebay title of the breakout board is as follows :-

TB6612FNG Motor Drive Module Mosfet H-Bridge High Performance / Ultra Small Size

Price was $15.98 USD with free postage.

Regards

Garry

PS I have lots of "Senior Moments" but what are Doh moments. - similar I presume.

Send the guy an e-mail with your problem again, and that if he doesn't respond you will sadly be forced to file a dispute with paypal. That will probably be sufficient. If it isn't, file a dispute with paypal.

Garry,

Check this link for the device data sheet:

https://www.sparkfun.com/datasheets/Robotics/TB6612FNG.pdf

The rest of the information eg pin ID's are on the rear of the breakout board. I can't get involved with your supplier. If you are really unhappy tell the supplier you will lodge a complaint with ebay, that normally gets their attention real fast.

"Senior Moments" and "doh moments" are similar I guess, to know for sure watch the Simpsons!

Hi David, Just for interest, the supplier has agreed to refund my money. I've since found Little Bird Electronics that supplies the item I'm chasing and have ordered with these people. I've used Little Bird Electronics before and found them very reliable. Any news on a schematic diagram for the train controller using mbed. Regards Garry
