Time Delay Circuitry

Overview

A circuit design project to implement a time delay functionality to one of the gas absorption instrument unit during my internship as an Electrical Engineering intern, at Micromeritics Instrument Corporation. The project involves cycles of schematic design, hardware prototyping, PCB layout, soldering, troubleshooting, etc. The circuit simulates a clock cycle generator with a 555 timer, which was later replaced with the NI - myDAQ function generator, and implements a state machine that outputs a signal with a 5 ms delay on each cycle.
