Introduction
This is the first stages of a prototype CAN/K-line interface board used in automotive applications. The target vehicle for this test will be my 2013 Mustang. Both CAN buses and K-line interface are accessible at the diagnostic port located under the dash. The purpose of this project is to provide an interface component to access the OEM buttons and bus information to drive external devices/relays etc...
- Dual CAN upto 1mb NXP transients protection added. 120ohm bus termination for bus A & B.
- ISO K-line interface/ISO9141 NXP transients protection added.
- 5volt regulator with 8-18v input for use in automotive applications Reverse battery protection.
