Development environments
Yesterday, I followed an ad from Element14 and was immediately interested in the Freescale FRDM prototyping boards. I ordered an MK20DX128VLH5 (Cortex-M4), but now I'm finding a lack of tools for the MK series. Everything (free, anyway!) seems to be specific to the KL or even KL25.
Have I overreached by buying the top of the line board? Or can someone point me to an available IDE?
Thanks!

Hi Dave,
If all else fails, there is always Freescale's CodeWarrior which is available as a free version with code size limited to under 128k.
When I finish getting the LPC1788 working with mbed, I want to get the k20 freedom board working too.
If you're interested in this, you could look at adding support for the k20 FRDM to the mbed SDK

Jez, I've looked at the CodeWarrior pages, and so far have not found what you suggested. I see the "Special Edition" description, for a free, size-limited version, but nowhere to choose that option; possibly it will be offered in the licensing registration. More problematic, I don't see any reference to support for the K20 MCus.
There are a lot of CodeWarrior options, and I'm probably just missing the right tree in the forest. Do you have a specific link or product ID you could point me to?
Thanks!
Hi David,
Try http://www.freescale.com/webapp/sps/site/prod_summary.jsp?code=CW-SUITE-SPECIAL&fpsp=1&tab=Design_Tools_Tab...it's got options for which version of the special edition you download.
Sorry it took a while to post...
