LPC ARMS without Mbed specific Platforms

I have been looking at the LPC11C24 which is very similar to the LPC11U24 without USB but WITH a built in can module AND transceiver.

Although there is no specific Mbed enabled Dev board there is an LPCExpresso board with a cut down code-red compiler and an onboard LPCLink Jtag wiggler..

I find code-red a chore and would love to have the MBED SDK and online compiler as an option for this chip.

I already use the LPCExpresso LPC1769 as an alternate to the MBED1768 , with a modified PHY driver for the ethernet side of things and only use the code red to flash the bin to the chip.

So whats the chance of adding the 11C24 variant to the drop down ? It would open up a lot of CAN projects.

The MBED1768 is great as a master , but for simpler nodes the 11C24 would be a fantastic addition I think.

I agree, I would love LPC11C24 added to compiler. The LPCXpresso boards are good start.

Hi,

Yes it would be very nice having an mbed LPC11C24 for low cost node driving CAN bus.

I would like to see it also. Nice chip for low cost nodes for home automation.

I agree LPC11C24 support would be great, especially since it has a ROM CAN bootloader (The LPC17xx hasn't)
