mbed TLS peer certificate verfication Fails

Hi Experts,

I am using mbed TLS client with Test certificates generated (using open SSL) and testing with local TLS server. In that case, peer certificate verification fails. Though I optionally turn off the peer certificate verification (MBEDTLS_SSL_VERIFY_OPTIONAL), in local setup how to test the same.

I apologize, but your use case is not clear to me.

How and where are you setting MBEDTLS_SSL_VERIFY_OPTIONAL in your client?

Does setting MBEDTLS_SSL_VERIFY_OPTIONAL have a successful ( though unsecure) connection?

What is the Mbed TLS version you are using?
