LoRa antenna needed?

Hi all,

To use this board (L-TEK-FF1705) with LoRa do I need a LoRa antenna? I cannot find anything mentioning it.

The L-Tek FF1705 platform is based on the low cost, low power MultiConnect® xDot™ Module from MultiTech, complete with an integrated DAPLink interface, all in an Arduino form factor.

there is an embedded antenna onboard: http://datasheets.avx.com/ethertronics/AVX-E_M620720.pdf

Thank you, what if I would a more powerful one? Do I need to add it to xDot Multitech module?
