CMSIS-DAP on IAR

Hi,

I was just wondering (a) whether the new mbed firmware with CMSIS-DAP would be compatible with the CMSIS-DAP option in IAR, (b) if so whether anyone has successfully used it and (c) if not, will IAR be supported in the future?

I have debugging working well with Keil (demo version), but would like to use IAR if possible as this is my tool of choice. I exported a basic project (blinky leds) to IAR and compiled it ok. I then selected CMSIS-DAP as the debugger and tried to start debugging, but got an error message "Fatal Error. Failed initializing tool".

+1 on this for me - I noticed that the latest EWARM update added CMSIS-DAP support so if we can get the mbed support for it too, result!

Hi Erich,

Have you been able to get IAR working with the LPC1768 as well as the KL25Z? I've got the latest version of IAR and still no joy.

Hi Tim, I'm using IAR 6.50.5.4862 with CMSIS-DAP: http://mcuoneclipse.com/2013/05/17/cmsis-dap-with-iar-and-the-kl25z-freedom-board/
