Maximum input Voltage mbednxp LPC1768?
Hey alltogether, i got a slight problem, as i might have grilled my mbed due to 10V input Voltage :S All i Noticed is that the on Board buck down got extremly hot, and that no onboard LED was on. Ive cut the supply off, and when i Plugged the usb, my computer didnt recognize the board anymore...
as i checked fo Hardware description i found that 9V is maximum (http://mbed.org/handbook/mbed-NXP-LPC1768), while the cards little cards the mbed is comming with are saying that maximum is 14V...
Since the system im building is for a car with 12V DC, i wonder now if i require a buckdown system? And what Voltage range do i actually have to supply the Board?
Seriously, its really a great system...and you guys really do as much as you can to give support. Its just not easy to see if the Hardware-Description is up to date or not...

The IC can handle 14V, however it is limitted at 9V due to heat constraints, although that of course depends on the current drawn.
