i am working with STM -Discovery-L475E-IOT01A

i have downloaded mbed cloud client code to connect to Mbed cloud from following link.

It is not mentioned anywhere about SD card requirement, is it necessary or not ??

I am not able to connect to cloud, I think SD card is must to work with this Code.

Could you please confirm it ASAP ?

With external SD card reader and SD card given example code is working. Can i work without SD card for given sample code ??
