Unable to install USB driver for STM32 ST-Link Utility on WIndows XP

I get this alert no matter what I do when I try to install the USB driver to run the utility. /media/uploads/robGGGe/bildschirmfoto_2018-10-18_um_16.11.27.png

And I got the utility link form another site than st.com cause the link for the download was not working! Really a pain.

Hi, watch Product Specifications from https://www.st.com/en/development-tools/stsw-link009.html

Quote:

Thank you. I found the older versions I had from utility and drivers on an old backup of mine. I had to re-install the older version of the utility too, so the alerts would not show on anymore while trying to install the usb drivers. Now it works fine.
