Can Windows recognize and automatically configure the usb serial device?

Hello,

I would like to know if it is possible for Windows to recognize and automatically configure the usb serial device. That is, the user does not need to specify .inf file or do anything else for the device to work.

Hi Mary Lee, you have to install the driver for mbed serial so Windows can recognize it

Hi Ney,

This driver should be used in serial comunication, onboard USB connector. I asked about usb serial device, USB connector should be attached to p31 (D+), p32 (D-) and GND for the LPC1768 and the LPC11U24.
