LPC4088 QSB with XBee 802.15.4 series 1

Hi, Would anyone be able to link me some example code for using two xbees on two LPC4088 QSB please. I have looked online and have seen the XBee_Lib. However, I have not used mbed a lot and seem to be getting errors when trying to use this Xbee_lib even when just compiling the start up code given by them a long with the mbedutls and mbed libraries for the config.h and mbed.h files respectively.

Instead of trying to configure them that way I have instead bought a USB explorer so i can use XCTU to configure them instead, i.e. one as co-ordinator and one as and end device. This is why I am looking for any example code that would work on these two boards i.e. press a button on one and then it lights up an LED on the other board.
