USART Receive is not working in STM32F429 nucleo-144 board

Hi,

I am a learner using STM32F429 nucleo-144 board. I am using the example UART code in KEILMDK, I can transmit through USART3 but unable to receive any data and the receive function exit with HAL timeout.

Pls help me to fix this issue. The connections are correct.
