How can I raise a question regarding specific project/libraies ?

I still remember the previous mbed site is very social oriented. We can raise questions just in the same page of project/libraries. Now I can not submit questions to the author or maintainer.

I know authors of open source projects are quite busy and privacy is very important. But without help from author, sometimes the projects are just dying and vanished as well.

You can do this on cookbook / handbook / notes / component pages, but not on libraries. I don't think you've ever been able to do this.

I think it would make sense to also be able to ask questions on specific libraries, but that would require some engineering.

You can raise an 'Issue' on a published library but only when the publisher has enable that feature. Unfortunately it seems that the author doesnt get notifications anymore when questions are asked on notebook, component or lib pages. I dont check them daily so might not see a question for some time.

Though not ideal in terms of visibility to the developer community, another option to reach the author would be to go to the user profile page and send a message using the Private Message option in the top right side panel
