Thermal Printer Firmware based on MBED

Any projects to control thermal heads?

There is this shield: Thermal Printer Shield.

Hi Mr. Jongboom,

the firmware of AS289R2 is not open source ? and it is not deweloped in mbed? I need examples of one firmware, how to drive motors, how to print etc? Of course in mbed!

Ah, I only know of the shield, not of primary drivers for a thermal printer.
