Quadrature Counter Info
Hi, I'm fairly new to the mbed system and had a few general questions about using a quadrature counter on LPC1768. The manual says it records the position of the motor. What is this position in reference too, is it angular displacement? And how does it store it, i.e converts it from radians or degrees?. I've only used encoder that give you a voltage value, between A and B and you know the limits of the encoder so you can convert the voltage reading to a angle. Any input is welcome!
