Do we need to press the button on the programming board to start MAX32630FTHR?

Just got one and tried the blinky. After dragging the compiled binary onto the DAPLINK it uploads the file, but the MAX32630FTHR board does not start blinking. By accident, I found that it would start after unplugging and replugging it to USB. Then, I learned that I can also press the button on the programming adapter.

So.. is this on purpose? Then please update the documentation. I would expect that the board would start after flashing If this this a bug and you/maxim could fix the firmware, please?

I don't have this specific board, but as far as i am aware only the STM ones automatically reboot after programming, all others need to be reset (so replugging it, or probably pressing the reset button on the adapter).

All targets I have can also alternatively be reset by sending a break condition over the virtual COM port (so alt+B in teraterm for example).

Thanks for for your reply. I just started (with mbed in general and this particular board) on the wiki page and got irritated. Later, on the mbed getting started guide, the press reset button was mentioned.

Great, so it's more or less to be expected. It would still help beginners that also happen to start with this board and follow the wiki to let them now in a single sentence.
