Using STM32 Nucleos
Excuse me for the very basic question. I have two nucleos (used to have another one too) : a F401RE and a F303RE. I will detail my problem later but first the question:
If I want to use them with mbed, do I have to install any drivers first in my development computer??
(yeah I know, basic, sorry)
Now my situation: I have been developing for Nucleos with mbed for some time already. Not only basic problems but LCDs, cameras, wifi modules etc. -Then why do you ask -you may say-, well I don't remember the *correct* way of doing things. I just plug them and assume the computer will recognize them.
First I was developing in a windows 7 PC (and also a mac) with the F401. Now I am developing in a windows 10 with the F303.
Now my problem is: even the most simple of programs (flashing a LED) works no problem in my F401. I program it once and then even if I plug it or unplug it it works always. (other than the LD1 led that for some reason has stopped working-grrrr)
But my F303, I have to program it twice to make any program work. Every time. If I unplug it, and plug it again the program does not work. Resetting does nothing. I have to program it twice to make any program work. Obviously this is not acceptable so I am wondering if there may be some problems with drivers or something
Please help me on this, thanks

Your boards will be similar to https://developer.mbed.org/teams/ST-Americas-mbed-Team/wiki/Preparing-the-STM32-Nucleo-Board
I did two things, and it seems it works. I don't know which one did the magic: 1) Installed the drivers, 2) Updated the nucleo firmware. It seems to be working now
