Hello Alain,
In mbed IDE, select the .cpp file you'd like to save to your PC by left clicking on it. Then press "Ctrl+E" (or right click on the file and in the local menu choose "Export File..." ). When you are asked "Do you want to open or save ..." click on the small arrow button which appears on the "Save" button. Choose "Save as" and navigate to the target folder on your PC to save it.
NOTE: In case there are many .cpp files to save you can export a whole project in similar way (select any of the off-line IDEs supported) . Once saved to the PC, unzip the archive and you'll have all the .cpp files available.
