Windows doesn't know what to do with a xxx.bin file

Compiler doesn't offer to save a bin file. Windows show message: "Windows can't open this file: xxx.bin". How to fix it, please?

Your browser is trying to open the file instead of saving it. No idea why, but it seems due to the browser and its settings. Easiest option is first to try another browser. If that works see if you can find out why your current browser is doing it.

Hi Erik, thanks a lot for a hint. I went to Settings/Advanced settings/Download location and assigned E:\ as my MBED storage directory. I also check-marked "Ask where to save each file before downloading". That solved my problem. Thanks again. regards, Jacob.
