Does not connect ethernet port when reset power supply 3.3v

Hello

I'm using a K64F with its own hardware. The K64F runs on 3.3V of my hardware. Sometimes I do not connect K64F ethernet port with my pc. I need to reset the power supply several times until I connect an ethernet port. What is the problem? Bad ethernet port configuration? Transient current does not reach K64?

I look forward to your help.

Greetings.

Juan

Juan,

Did you design you own hardware around the k64f, is this what you are implying?

Hi Andrea

I designed the hardware around the FRDM-K64F. But this is simple, it consists of a power source of 3.3v @ 100mA. In addition to analog / digital inputs / outputs.

The problem is after the K64 is running in continuous mode. If there is a power outage when resetting in the short time (10 sec), it does not connect the K64's ethernet port to the network.

Andrea

Forget to comment that I energized the K64F through the pins 4 and 6 of the J3 (P3V3). Is this advisable? Or it is best to do it through the J24 connector.

Could you please send schematics to support@mbed.org so we can help further :)

Thanks for the help. Solve the problem with external source on pin16 (J3).
