Target USB missing on D21 under Win 10 x64

Dear people

Looking for black magic agian under Win 10 x64, it stinks for IoT DEV work.

When i program the D21 from Studio 7 under Windows 10 x64 the TARGET USB device does not show up.

If i try and use the cryptoauth example from Atmel, i can compile / debug but i cannot access the D21 via the TARGET USB for terminal access to the interface for the program.

Does anyone know what the working setup is under Win 10 x64 with Studio 7 IDE?

Would be nice for demo projects to say what setups work to build & test on.

This would save days knowing the configuration of the working IDE/demo projects

But then that would just be to helpfull!

Regards

Question relating to:

SAM D21 Xplained Pro Evaluation Kit

Did you update to Win10 anniversary edition? I know they changed how USB drivers work in there which has caused many problems for other boards too (like STLink). There might be an updated driver available from Atmel.

Jan

thanks for the reply.

SEP 2017 UPDATE

After a full rebuild with a newer version of Win x64, i am able to now build fully under Atmel Studio 7 IDE.

See

https://switchedonscotland.com/news.php

for a screenshot of results. using 508a

The only issue now is with the new owners messing up the portal for updates to add-ons for the IDE I hope MICROCHIP fixes the poor portal for Atmel folk.

Your MICROCHIP CEO wants to continue to back Atmel developers. I think the team needs to know this @ MICROCHIP.

Regards

Mark
