Nucleo STM32F401RE not recognised by online compiler
When I log into the online compiler, it states in the top right hand corner that no device is selected. I have tried removing / re-adding the board to my account but this has not resolved the issue.
I'm using the most recent version of Chrome and have the STLinkWinUSB and Ports drivers installed. I have also upgraded the firmware on the board itself to to the version recommended here: https://developer.mbed.org/teams/ST/wiki/Nucleo-Firmware
The only other thing is that the mbed windows serial drivers can't find the board when it is plugged in, I don't know whether this might have anything to do with it the problem.
Any help is much appreciated
What do you mean 'No device is selected'? The online compiler cannot read the state of connected devices, so you can click on that button and select STM32F401RE from the modal window; has nothing to do with boards plugged in or not... Does that not work?
posted by Jan Jongboom 04 Oct 2016I mean exactly what I said. It says no device selected in the top right hand corner. None of the buttons work in the online compiler. There are no available boards in the dropdown menu, thus I cannot select anything from it.
I'm not the only person affected by this, a search for "no device selected" will return plenty of results about this problem, many of which do not seem to have a solution.
