Icon start up in Ubuntu
Hi I'm using a 1768 to report some data and control an RC servo, but it is a system other people need to use too. Is there a way I can start up the terminal communication process (this is on Ubuntu) by simply clicking an icon? The normal screen /dev/tty and such is too daunting for some operators. I guess this would be some kind of text file that could be made into an exe, or maybe a .py? But I don't know enough to know how to do this. Thanks Robin

Hi Robin,
I think the instructions on this page should help: http://askubuntu.com/a/189353.
Then replace the script on that page with the screen /dev/tty stuff. Let me know if it works!
