Battery rating for LPC11u24?

Dear All,

I am trying to design a data acquisition model from LPC11U24. Which needs to be placed at a remote place.

Can you please let me know about the battery ratings for long life of an minimum of 1year .

Hi Harish, the battery life depends in my opinion of this two things

  • Current drawn by your circuit
  • mAh or Ah (capacity) that battery have

So let me explain to you with an example:

Let say i have a NIMH battery that has 2500 mAh (or what is the same 2.5Ah - 1000mAh = 1Ah) and that i have a camara that consumes a current of 1000 mA

So to find out how much time my camara will be working I do this calculation:

  • battery capacity / current drawn

In this example:

  • 2500 mAh / 1000 mAh = 2,5 hour of operation

I hope this information help you to find the correct battery for your project
