Does ST-LINK/V2-1 firmware upgrade work on Windows 10?
Hello everyone,
I´ve just purchased the STM32F401RET6 microcontroller and installing the drivers without problem the ST-Link doesn´t recognize my board and a It is unable to install the firmware. Do you have any solution? Does Windows 10 have a negative impact?

I have one of my Nucleo L152RE boards working with Windows 10 Anniversary edition. The board that works has firmware version V2.J22.M5. My other boards have the newest firmware and they show up as empty drives. Is there a way to go back to V2.J22.M5 ?

I have had similar problems on windows 10. Everything seems to have installed, but when i compile and save the code onto the drive, its not uploading.

Hi Miguel,
Since the Windows 10 Anniversary update this has caused issues with the ST-LINK firmware, we are investigating this with ST and will post as soon as we have a solution.

Hi! Onece, I lost ST-Link USB drive. (after windows 10 anniversary update)
but I can see the drive now. maybe windows10 was updated.
I find these words in the windows update log . (KB3176936) forWindows 10 Version 1607 for x64-Based Systems (KB3176934) x64 base system Windows 10 Version 1607 total update
I'm new to ARM processors and got hold of a Nucleo-144 STM32F722 board and Rowley Crossworks. I had no problems downloading and installing ST-LINK/V2 drivers onto Windows 10. Everything functions properly with the board, and it's a lot faster than my MSP430 setups. However there is one side issue with the drivers. I can't boot up my Windows machine with the board plugged in. It simply hangs in BIOS with no error message. This is a real pain because my PC runs 24x7 and needs to be able to cope, unattended, with automatic re-booting after Windows update.
