mbed compiler and corresponding MCU
Pretty basic question here.
New to mbed compiler. Checked out some supported DK code online.
I would like to know if mbed would be supported by "my" hardware that uses a MCU listed on the mbed site. I mean i do not plan to use any DK but my hardware. Hope my question is clear.

Yes. If you have the same MCU as one of the boards it will work. The files created by the mbed compiler should just work on any board, without special requirements like bootloaders.
