mbed Windows-serial driver issues

I am using the Windows serial drivers from the following location for Vitual COM port. https://developer.mbed.org/handbook/Windows-serial-configuration

I see sometimes drop in the data.I am interested to know the size of receive buffer and transmit buffer used on the host. Can anyone point me to the source code for these drivers ?
