How do people learn this stuff?
I have been using Mocrochip devices with the CCS compiler, uVision with Infineon processors and Arduino for small projects. Now I have been asked to switch over to NXP devices. I have a FRDM-K22F development board.
I have no problem writing code for Mocrochip, Infineon, and Arduino, but am having a terrible time with NXP. So far I have been able to create a hello project in the Online Compiler and import it into KDS. From there I can read buttons, turn LED's on and off and use UART_2 to interface with serial devices.
What I have been asked to do is create a Boot Loader that will re-write the program memory over WIFI, but I cannot even find a way to store data in the program flash. When I look at examples or try to reverse engineer code for the NXP processors it is all way over my head.
So, the question is, how do people learn this stuff? How did you NXP experts get to where you are? I feel like I am running in circles and getting nowhere!
